F-Fly

the simplest of CDC flies.
For the body I use feather herl in most cases, just a few being dubbed. Almost any wing/body colour combination is possible. If you want something different from those illustrated, please ask.

CDC Humpy

As designed by Agostino Roncallo.
This delicate little dry fly floats by means of a bubble of air trapped in the thorax, which consists of a CDC pompom of dubbing overlaid by a CDC thorax cover. The fly is constructed from a single CDC feather.

There is no special name for this little fly, which like the above floats with a CDC bubble, but is simpler to tie.
