The red buzzer has a floss body wound over a white-painted hook.
This gives greatly enhances the colour.

Faddy buzzer
Simulation of a swarm of buzzers observed in Loch Fad. (Body colour shades of grey) This bug had prominent eyes. I have used foam to simulate them. This gives some buyancy but not so much as to cause the fly to float.
